The CCS Pork ‘n’ Cider party on Friday 7 July was a delightful sell-out success. The St Augustine’s Cellarer’s Garden (generously offered by the King’s School) made an ideal setting, the weather could not have been better, the food (a present from our Treasurer, Alan Turner and Blackbird Catering) was delicious, the company charming – and very generous: the raffle raised £550 for the Aphra Behn Project. Last year a grand dinner, this year a hog roast, next year … any suggestions?
