A Welcome from the Chair

Canterbury… One of the most evocative place names in the English-speaking world. A city of poets and priests, pilgrims and painters, rock stars and rebels; a city loved by the Romans, revered by pilgrims, gutted by the fires of war; a city with a heritage as rich as the pastures that surround it.

We cherish this very special place. We are a registered charity committed to celebrating its ancient wonders, remembering and relishing its fascinating human heritage, and helping to educate visitors and succeeding generations in its history.

This website explains how we do this.

If you like what you see, resident, tourist or pilgrim, please join us! It’s a wonderful cause, and you’ll be very, very welcome.

Thank you.
