Canterbury’s Neglected genius

To mark the centenary of the death of Joseph Conrad, CCS members Bee Clinch (seen reading), Pat Marsh, Tessa Taylor, Barbara Wilkinson, Carolyn Oulton, Stewart Ross and Astrid Stilma read extracts from some of his best-known works, including Heart of Darkness, The Secret Agent and Nostromo, to a most appreciative audience in St Peter’s Anglican Church on Friday 4 October 2024. Conradians may be pleased to hear that the centenary is also being marked by new information signage at his grave in the city cemetery.
