Today we announce the design for the Aphra statue to grace our city centre. Christine Charlesworth’s beautiful ‘Playwright, Poet, Pioneer’ will stand on the other side of the street from our magnificent Geoffrey Chaucer statue, confirming Canterbury as a cradle of English literature.
