The four final designs for the Aphra Behn statue have now been revealed and aren’t they gorgeous! Each design has its own hidden secrets and messages, detailing information about the life of Britain’s first professional woman writer who came from Canterbury.

The public can now read about each design and can visit this page to vote for their favourite design; each of the four designs have been cast in bronze and are 50cm high. The public can see them on a tour of key Behn venues on the following dates.
