Stunning model

We have just taken possession of this wonderful model of the Emma Ernest, the last sailing vessel to carry coal into Whitstable Harbour, 1923. Made with loving care and painstaking attention to detail by Rev William Mowll, the ship will adorn the scale model of Whitstable Harbour a century ago being created for the Commemoration Society under the eagle-eyed supervision of architect Christopher Palmer. It will be a must-see feature of the harbour’s new South Quay building.
