Talks and school workshops on Aphra Behn
Recently Chair Stewart Ross and Vice Chair Charlotte Cornell have been delivering talks and workshops about Aphra Behn’s life and work.
Charlotte is currently doing a PhD on Behn’s early years in and around the city of Canterbury. She has given talks to The King’s School & The Aphra Behn Society and has other dates in the diary to speak later in the year to other Canterbury groups and schools. She can speak on Behn, Marlowe, or wider aspects of Early Modern culture, especially that with a Kent connection.
As a prolific author, Stewart has delivered creative writing workshops in schools around the UK. Recently Stewart has been working as Writer-in-Residence at the Canterbury Academy and has been workshopping a Behn-style historical novel with Year 7 students.
