On Tuesday 25 February, Her Majesty Queen Camilla did Canterbury Commemoration Society the honour of unveiling Christine Charlesworth’s magnificent statue of Aphra Behn in Canterbury High Street. The statue is the result of many years hard work, and the Society is most grateful to the many hundreds of members and supporters who gave generously of their time and funds to make the project possible.
