Canterbury’s Tales of England

Canterbury Commemoration is firmly behind the enormously exciting Canterbury’s Tales of England project, ‘a world-class reinvention of Canterbury as a heritage & cultural destination by telling Canterbury’s Tales of England through the city’s rich past, present & future.’

The Canterbury Tales of England project seeks to revolutionize the way the city’s heritage tourism is organized and presented.

Among other things, CTOE plans:

• a series of heritage trails linked together through themed story gardens
• to renovate the tragically neglected castle and make it a central feature in heritage tourism
• turn the shabby walkway along the city walls into a path of inspiration and information
