Supporting Friends of Canterbury Cemetery

In 2025, with the support of CCS, a new Friends of Canterbury Cemetery group was formed. Three of our trustees are on its steering committee. The group plans to work with the City Council to raise awareness of the cemetery’s rich but underused historical and environmental resources. We have already helped produce a new display board at the cemetery entrance and are currently working on improved signage for the graves of those who perished during the 1942 ‘Baedeker’ raids on the city.
